Finally… on a few counts. Finally I’m writing. Finally, things are getting achieved around here!
Back in July last year, I blogged about the dining room being cleared out. But I had so much more to do than just that room. Much of the stuff ended up in this room below….
Ok, so this is not how the room looked at all times – this was taken in the middle of the sorting and moving. I was actually able to move around in there….
The next photo shows more accurately how my room was 90% of the time. It was still a crazy mess.
So I bought some flat packed shelving units and got busy assembling!
…and voila! Here it is!
Jars and boxes and tins of goodies!
All organised and sorted and cupboards shifted
And supplies sorted through, many sold at our garage sale and many donated because I was just too tired to list them on Etsy!
I actually enjoy walking in this room now. The home is coming together nicely. We’ve got lots more work to do, but have done so much these past couple of months!
Until next time, and I promise that won’t be in a month this time!

So happy for you! I am just at a starting point of getting my studio in order. It needs paint, new flooring and lots of organizing! It feels so much better when you have a space that is organized to create in. It looks wonderful! I am admiring all your goodies...love the chandelier and those tins...LOVE! Enjoy your new space to work in! Hugs and love friend!!

Wow Natasha!! Great job. It looks beautiful! Too bad you're about 2001 miles too far away to help me do mine!
ReplyDeleteAwesome decluttering. That is also a very pretty clutter.
ReplyDeleteYour craft room make-over is great! Thanks for sharing this! It looks wonderful!!...Daniel
ReplyDeleteI always feel inspired to create when I have a studio clean up/re-organise session. Your room looks lovely and having everything in boxes and jars makes it so much easier to see where everything is.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing your latest creations Natasha.

Wow Natasha!! Looks beautiful! I want to create in there!! Hope you are doing well!
ReplyDeleteWow, looks like those shelves were the key, Natasha! You have so many cool tins, jars and boxes to put on them too but then again, you have sooo many supplies! So do you really remember where everything is? :) That's my problem. I love to organize but I can't remember where I put it! Glass jars come in handy for that but the boxes, drawers and suitcases are my problem. I actually thought about doing a blog post just for me- detailing WHERE everything is. "This is the box where all my paper doilies are." Then maybe I'd REALLY be organized.
ReplyDeleteI remember when I signed up for the Sweet Six art retreat, I had to go out and buy glue, lace,fabric-everything! Now that's not the case but I still have very few supplies compared to most of you studio girls.
Enjoy your new crafting space and congratulations on organizing it and posting! ♥
It looks great Natasha!! Look at all of the lovely goodies to inspire...
ReplyDeleteI just asked Jenn where you were and here you are posting...Missed you!
Hugs,
Penny
